01Agreement to these terms

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using Vumo, the events service at vumo.app operated by JustDukkan LLC. Your access to and use of Vumo depends on accepting and following these Terms, which apply to everyone who visits or uses the service — visitors, hosts, and guests alike.

By accessing or using Vumo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please don’t use the service.

02Our role in events

Gatherings on Vumo are organized by their hosts, not by us. We provide the technology to run an event — the page, the invitations, the payments, and check-in — but we are a third-party tool, not the organizer. We are not responsible or liable for a host cancelling an event, for the content or conduct of an event, or for the accuracy of the details a host provides, including times and joining links.

If you have a question or problem about any of those things, contact the host. Hosts control their own events and are responsible for telling you about any terms or policies of their own that apply, and for resolving any dispute you have about their event.

03Your content

Vumo lets you post, link, store, and share text, images, and other material (“Content”). You are solely responsible for the Content you put on the service, and you may share it only as the law allows.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you grant us and the relevant hosts a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable right to use, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the Content you post, in any form or medium, so that we can operate the service and hosts can run their events.

04Acceptable use

Don’t use Vumo for anything unlawful or fraudulent, and don’t do anything that could harm or compromise our systems or security. Access the service only through the interfaces we publicly provide.

05Importing other people’s details

If you import someone’s information into Vumo — for example, uploading names and email addresses to invite guests — you confirm that you have their permission to add them and to email them. Breaking this rule may lead to your account being suspended.

06Links to other sites

Vumo may contain links to websites or services we don’t own or control — a meeting link, a map, a host’s own page. We’re not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or how they operate, and we aren’t liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on them.

07Intellectual property

Everything that makes up Vumo — including trademarks, logos, text, images, software, and the overall look and feel of vumo.app and its pages (“Site Content”) — is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. This includes VUMO™ and the related stylized “vumo+” marks, which are trademarks of JustDukkan LLC.

You may not copy, republish, distribute, display, sell, or otherwise use Site Content without our written permission, except as part of ordinary, legitimate use of the service through our public interfaces. In particular, you may not download or reuse images or similar material as standalone files, and you may not use Site Content in any way likely to confuse people about who provides it.

08Copyright complaints

We respect others’ intellectual-property rights. If you believe Content on Vumo infringes your copyright, email us at support@vumo.app with: (a) a description of the work you say was infringed; (b) the URL where the material is located; (c) your name, postal address, phone number, and email; (d) a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized; (e) your physical or electronic signature; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them. We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.

09Feedback

We’re glad to hear your ideas about Vumo, but any feedback, suggestions, or similar material you send us (“Submissions”) is not confidential. You assign your Submissions to us at no cost — or, where they can’t be assigned, grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license — so that we may use them for any purpose, commercial or not, without owing you anything.

10Disclaimer

YOU USE VUMO AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE, NETWORK, OR DATA RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. WHERE THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW SUCH DISCLAIMERS, THEY APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.

11Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, NEITHER JUSTDUKKAN LLC NOR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST REVENUE OR DATA, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE IT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SERVICE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JustDukkan LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from or related to your access, use, attempted use, or misuse of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

13Export controls & sanctions

Vumo is operated from the United States. You may not use the service if you are located in, or are a national or resident of, a country subject to a US or United Nations embargo, or if you appear on a US government restricted-party list (such as the Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals list or the Commerce Department’s Denied Persons or Entity lists). By using Vumo, you represent that none of these apply to you.

14Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware (New Castle County), and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction. Any claim must be filed within one year of when the events giving rise to it began, or it is permanently barred.

15General

If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest remains in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. Some features may require you to accept additional terms. We may transfer or assign these Terms or the service, in whole or in part, at our discretion and without notice; you may not. Section titles are for convenience only.

16Termination

We may suspend or end your access to Vumo at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason — including if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability — will survive.

17Changes

We may modify or replace these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion, and we decide what counts as a material change. Continuing to use Vumo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
